Born and raised in Rochester, New York, Spazi found his footing in music long before he ever stepped into a studio. Surrounded by a diverse range of sounds from an early age, singing came first — recording came later. By 2019, what had always felt natural became something more deliberate.

Relocating to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2022 marked a turning point. Spazi's sound evolved from his roots in rap and R&B into the world of indie rock and indie pop — and now he's doing something most artists don't dare to: blending both. The result is a genre of his own, where emotional rawness meets melodic instinct.

For Spazi, music isn't background noise — it's the difference between a world in color and one in black and white. He writes from lived experience, which means listeners tend to hear themselves in his songs. Love, grief, confusion, the spaces in between — nothing is off limits.
